CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Seniors Hana McNally (Burlington City, N.J./Holy Cross) and Analies Ross-Dyjak (Orono, Maine), and junior Alexa Cicolini (Methuen, Mass.) each scored a goal to lead the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 3-0 win over the Pine Manor College Gators in non-conference women's soccer game Tuesday evening.
Winners of two of its last three games, Southern Maine improves to 6-11 overall. Pine Manor College drops its fourth straight to stand at 5-7.
McNally scored her third goal of the season and the first game-winning goal of her career in the 22nd minute. The Huskies' rode McNally's goal through the half and did not double its advantage until the 88th minute on Ciciolini's score - her second of the season. Ross-Dyjak tucked the game away beating the buzzer for the Huskies' third goal of the game and her third of the season in the 90th minute.
Southern Maine sophomore Taylor Canastra (Fairhaven, Mass.) picked up the win by shutout making three saves in the victory.
The Huskies return to action on Saturday (12:00 p.m.) when they travel to LEC opponent Western Connecticut for their season-finale.
